The fashion highlight to your spring calendar, Shanghai Fashion Week is returning this Friday, June 17 to Sunday, June 19. Will the clothes still be in style even though they're two months late? YOU decide.

And, this year, you actually can because Shanghai Fashion Week is happening entirely online and can be viewed from official public social media platforms on Douyin, WeChat, Bilibili, YouTube, and Instagram.

Usually, it's kind of hard to get into Shanghai Fashion Week shows. Happening twice a year since 2001, most of the events are by invitation only and you kinda have to know what you're doing to get into them. This year, you can sit front row for all of them. On your couch. In your jammies. Maybe with your cat. Scarfing down a big bowl of Doritos. Just like Anna Wintour. It's streaming for six hours daily, this weekend, with live runway shows and behind-the-scenes stuff.

A massively truncated show, 36 brands are taking part, down from around 1000 at the 2021 Fashion Week. And if you didn't notice, it's also down from a week in length to a brisk three-day weekend. The theme is "The Future of Builders" which invokes themes of positive growth, market vitality, and ‘the future's so bright, gotta wear shades.'

Designers showing include: Feng Chen Wang, PRIVATE POLICY, LEAF XIA, and RICO LEE. The lineup by emerging designers labels include Sultry Virgi and TRICKCOO.

Day 3: 8ON8, LEAF XIA, AO YES凹是, DYCTEAM, TRICKCOO, Sultry Virgin, RICO LEE, Feng Chen Wang Inert Plan, MAYALI, JICHENG, PRIVATE POLICY, SHUSHU/TONG.
