Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏÍø loves animals. We have a whole section on our site for people to adopt animals (no sales, ever). loves animals. They have been rescuing, fostering and helping animals in Shanghai get adopted since 2005. Their former fosters now live on every continent except Antarctica. .

So we're back at it in July, doing our best to help a few animals out, with the help of Allen Lee, the photographer behind PawPaw Studio. A big thanks to Lee and his team for donating their time to help out a few animals in need.

Like all foster animals, to be ready for adoption, all cats receive vet care basics, including parasite control, vaccinations, and spay-neuter, as well as treatment for any injuries or illness at SCAA's vet partner Shanghai PAW.

Shanghai's rainy season always brings kitten rescues. Potts was soaking wet and screaming so loudly from behind potted plants in her rescuers' lane way, they could hear her from inside their house in a heavy downpour.

She's grown into a gorgeous tabby. She's full of energy, curiosity and affection. Potts enjoys zooming around the apartment like a tornado, and then crashing into a heap with other cats or fosters when she's exhausted herself. A typical hyper kitten, Potts is looking for an attentive home and is ideal as a second cat. Potts will be fully vaccinated before adoption but isn't ready for spay until the fall. If adopted soon, SCAA will share half the cost of her spay at PAW with her adopters.

Nekku has been in SCAA care over two years, since his rescue as a tiny and sickly kitten with bad flu. He recovered and grew into a big, fluffy, and friendly cat. His eyes will always be weepy, but Nekku is an easy-going and patient cat about having his face cleaned and his coat brushed.

He's a gentle family cat who gets along great with other friendly pets too. An ideal pet for kids of any age or a friend for a lonely cat.

Murphy is happy, friendly and thankfully unfazed by his rescue drama: he was picked up by a delivery guy and left in a parking lot, then a shop owner tied Murphy to a tree while trying to sell him. Eventually, Murphy was given away and SCAA took on his initial high-maintenance care. Murphy was neutered, received parasite control, had a thorough dental scale and polish, had two fatty cysts removed and started vaccinations at SCAA's vet partner PAW.

Now, Murphy is in excellent condition for his forever family. SCAA estimates he's around 3 or 4 years old. A normally quiet guy, he's a bit noisy around other dogs and wouldn't be suitable for cats. He's a sweet dog who loves being with people. SCAA could see him easily fit in to a family home. The more time his family had for him, the better. He enjoys walks, toys, and head rubs.
