LOEWE: Crafted World

LOEWE's first large-scale brand exhibition, "Crafted World," curated by Creative Director Jonathan Anderson, offers a comprehensive presentation of the brand's rich history, the spirit of Spanish workshops, and its commitment to craftsmanship.

It's free, BUT do NOT forget to reserve your spot beforehand. You can tell this brand has poured its heart into curating this exhibition. Whether you're a fan of this brand, or luxury brands in general, you'll find this exhibition definitely in the "above average" category. Annie Morris: Hope from a Thin Line

This exhibition marks the first institutional solo show in Asia for the acclaimed sculptor Anne Morris. Her works are emotional responses to her life experiences. The exhibition will present the artist's sculptures, tapestries, and paintings created since 2012.

Her work "Stack 9, Copper Blue" broke her record, selling for over three million rmb. Morris is known for her "stacked" sculptures, these totemic spheres composed of brightly colored, irregularly shaped orbs, vertically arranged and hovering atop one another, seemingly defying gravity as they majestically reach towards the sky.

She studied at Central Saint Martins and later at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris under sculptor Giuseppe Penone, followed by studies at the Slade School of Fine Art and graduating from Camberwell College of Arts.

Through the Playful Eyes of Elliott Erwitt

This is the main art exhibition at Fotografiska right now, located on the second floor, so don't miss out if you're passionate about photography, especially black-and-white photography. Oh, and incase you missed it, we covered Fotografiska before, and it is definitely something Shanghai residents should put on their to-do list.

This exhibition encompasses a curated collection of Elliott's photographic works spanning seven decades. Through his lens, he captures moments from everyday life, each piece infused with warmth, emotion, and a touch of humor.

Featuring over 100 photographs, with the earliest dating back to 1949, the exhibition showcases Elliott's iconic black and white images alongside lesser-known works and some of his later color photographs from the latter part of his career.

Who Is Leonardo Da Vinci?

Leonardo da Vinci: not just a painter, but a bona fide universal genius. Dig into his world, and the latest exhibition at the Shanghai Museum becomes an adventure of a whole different kind.

Fresh off a rather impressive makeover, the Shanghai Museum is throwing open its doors to this spectacle in a completely new avatar. Wander through a cultural labyrinth that bridges East and West, brought to life with some seriously slick and innovative displays.

What really knocks our socks off is the Shanghai Museum's curation game—top-tier, especially with that low-reflection glass making every glimpse a treat. No squinting here, folks, just pure visual pleasure.

This show's a treasure trove of 18 Renaissance wonders, including the iconic "Lady with an Ermine" by Leonardo himself and gems from the "Codex Atlanticus," alongside Michelangelo's rare sketches and masterpieces by Leonardo's protégés.

But it doesn't stop at the Renaissance. The exhibition also spotlights Chinese ancient marvels, like the "Zha Kou Pan Che Tu" from the Five Dynasties, Liang Kai's "A Portrait of Poet Li Bai" from the Southern Song Dynasty, and Tang Yin's "Lady with Fan in the Autumn Breeze" from the Ming Dynasty. Together, these 18 pieces weave a story of East meets West, an elegant dance of art and science.
