In that is probably surging all up and down your WeChat moments, the Shanghai government has declared that everyone not in a medium or high risk area is allowed out of their residential compounds without a pass this Wednesday, June 1. They also stated that all public transportation will be back in operation — that includes all the subway lines and the ferry service connecting Puxi and Pudong — all residential areas restored, cross district travel okay'ed, and private vehicles allowed back on the roads.

That includes taxis and Didi.

The city's residents are free to travel across districts, provided they aren't coming from or going to a medium or high risk zone.

As previously announced, getting in anywhere requires a negative PCR test result obtained within 72 hours. Here's a guide on how to find the closest PCR test location to you.
