One of China's largest map provders, Gaode (a Chinese version of Google Maps) has started adding information on the lockdown status of each compound to its map. It currently only seems to work on their iOS/Android apps, not their MiniPrograms.

The lockdown map appears to be work in progress, with only a small number of compounds being added to the map as of this writing.

Here's how you can check it out.

1) Download the Gaode map from Apple's app store or Google's Play store: 高德地图

2) Open the app and wait a few seconds. You'll see most of Shanghai turn red. (Obviously.) Zoom into a compound to see its status.

The small markers on the map indicate the status:

Lockdown Areas (封控区 fēngkòngqū) areas are labeled with a red "封" marker:

Controlled Areas (管控区 guǎnkòngqū) area labeled with an orange "管" marker

"Precautionary Areas" (防范区 fángfànqū) area labeled with an yellow "防" marker
