Local expat writing collective / publisher The Inkwell is hosting a meet and greet, reading event, and book swap at neighborhood dive bar I Love Shanghai (formerly My Place Ruin Bar). Guests will be reading selected excerpts from their favorite literary works and participants can swap books via the4 Inkwell library. No need to sign up if you’re just swapping. If you like to read, get in touch with the organizer at the event and they’ll get you on the list. 3pm to 5pm. No entry fee. Note: This event was initially listed for Nov 5th. That was a mistake, it's on Nov 6.
