Ian Bostridge's vocal quality has a finely honed, mellow tone and good control of his technique. Of the many songs Bostridge has sung, Schubert's Winterreise is probably his most studied. Since his debut in 1993, he has recurringly performed this work for thirty years, while his personal insights have grown richer and richer.
