SICL performs baroque choir & orchestra works - a rarity in Shanghai. Namely, it is Bach's cantata "Aus der Tiefen" and excerpts from "Messiah". The concert celebrates the brilliance of Baroque with Bach and Handel's grand choral and orchestral masterpieces at Shanghai Oriental Art Center on March 27, 2024. It features iconic works such as Bach's Cantata BWV 131 and Handel's excerpts from HWV 56, capturing the glory of the Baroque music era. The event honors these composers' contributions to music with a night of magnificent choir and orchestra performances, promising an emotionally resonant and musically rich experience.
