About

This exhibition showcases about 50 paintings created by Shi Zhiying between 2010 and 2024, providing an overview of the artist's practice during this period. Shi Zhiying is well-known for her extensive scenes painted with a monochromatic-like touch, such as oceans, sands, and grass. The artist's fluid and observant paintings capture the transient nature of phenomena, reflecting the constant process of generation and dissipation. She captures the extremely slow but continuous transformations that occur between objects, the painting surface, and the state of perception.
