There is beautiful pond and gardens in the compound and out of the south gate is the central city park meandering till Xintiandi area. Walking out of the north gate, the opposite side of the Weihai Road is Taikoo Hui whose underground is the metro station Line 13 West Nanjing Road. Located between Dagu Lu and Weihai Lu, Top of City has convenient access to restaurants, dvd stores, bars and massage palaces. With its curved bedroom windows, the compound boasts some of the city’s best views, including the elevated road and People’s Square. It also has a private lake and the beach area. Downside is their utility payment system that leaves many paying top prices for electricity and gas year-round.
