Founded in 2015, Farmonize is an eco-farming project aiming to connect people directly to the process of growing their own vegetables by leasing them farmland. Basically, they provide subscribers with a 120-square-meter plot of farmland and the option to grow eight to twelve different varieties of vegetables in one season. Their farms are mainly located in Chongming, Fengxian, and Songjiang, and said subscribers are encouraged to visit their farms and communicate with their farmers directly.
