Whether it鈥檚 for browsing, buying or schmoozing, art lovers are spoiled for choice this weekend with a bunch of openings and events around town. That includes the second edition of : open to all and sundry from tomorrow through Monday at , it features works by some 300 or so up-and-coming Chinese artists. No word on prices at the time of posting, but buying or no, it sounds pretty great.
As well as art shopping ops, there鈥檚 an exhibition curated by Du Xiyun and Yu Ke exploring the fair鈥檚 central theme of Transience Metro: Scape (cities, youth and time, apparently), a jury-selected 鈥楩utures鈥� section, all buoyed by an impressive academic committee including the likes of artist Ding Yi and CAFA鈥檚 Yang Jinsong.
