Bike shop is hosting a sweet LAN party this Friday night at 8pm. LAN party -- so that's a bunch of people linking their computers together to play games and enjoy drinks and snacks all night. Yes, it's as good as it sounds. On Friday's agenda is the classic first-person shooter Counter Strike (Version 1.6), and it's a Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) affair. So far about 30 people are in.
Says organizer Tyler Bowa; "We'll play about an hour altogether in big maps, then draw random teams of five for a tournament." There you have it.
Sounds BITCHIN.
