TEDx Talks, produced independently from TED Conferences, can range from motivating and thought provoking to about "swag" and how to tie your shoes. While TEDx has caught some heat for speakers who or promote their brand or recent projects, this Friday's TED licensed event promises to follow TED guidelines for speakers and event content, like no pseudoscience or commercial agendas.
And despite the name, the event on Friday, May 29 is open to all. They've brought in speakers from a range of industries, and Nancy Pon as the Master of Ceremonies. She's the woman in those in the back of your taxi, wearing a leotard and a huge smile, teaching all how to stretch, laugh, and breathe in the office.
