Restaurateur finally opened his newest venture in . This one's a classic French bakery called .

Fair warning: It's pricey. The selection of sandwiches, salads and terrines ranges from 35-45rmb, and if the 45rmb pastrami sandwich on ciabatta is any indicator of portion size, I suggest you double down.

A pain au chocolate goes for 18, while tarts and cake slices will set you back anywhere from 25-40. I recommend the apple tart -- delicious. Flaky Croissants and buttery brioche buns are 14 and 18 respectively. Smaller items like madeleines or raspberry shortbread cookies are usually around 10 or 15rmb.

They do coffee as well, and you'll pay about as much for it as you would in a fine dining restaurant, 30rmb for a single espresso and upwards. To be fair, that's still less than what you'd pay in a five-star hotel here, and the coffee is better.
