Here comes another food pop-up / gathering. Another 200rmb cover. Another big lineup of chefs. ? Check. ? Check. Jason Oakley? Check. (Along with like 99 other chefs, for real).
But! Sunday's (trademark violation?) event looks way more surreal and theatrical than any other food party in town: chefs in animal costumes; clowns pouring drinks and walking on stilts; butchers chopping meat like performance art; nurses administering alcohol injections; shadowplay; 20+ artists doing their thing; DRY ICE. (Obviously, there's some house music as well).
