The wheel turns and the legacy of Yongkang Lu continues to be written. Long-lasting sushi spot Sushi'O will be closing their YKL location after eight years of slinging California rolls on the corner. Last day is on July 31. They're refocusing on their Found 158 location, which seems appropriate, somehow. Respectful of their history. Meanwhile, the other YKL alumni, Cafe Des Stagiaries' bakery/coffeeshop spinoff Pain Chaud has opened their latest location in the little pedestrian bit between Jing'an Temple and Jiuguang City Plaza. Spacious, and serving hot pain au chocolat and good ice-cream. Really moving up in the world.
