Super popular Britpop (post-Britpop?) band are coming to Shanghai at the end of August for an acoustic show, and hey, ! But we won't for long 鈥� the well-established band, which has been around for more than two decades now, is apparently quite popular in China and our supply of tickets is going fast. A quick recap on the band, if you're not already a fan. Started out as an indie band, then did a curlicue into Britpop-not-Britpop, then won a bunch of awards, nominated for Mercury Prize and Grammys, and went on to global success. They sound kinda like Coldplay. This time around, they're , and making stops all over the European and Japanese summer stages (Glastonbury, Summer Sonic) before hitting China. !
