This week it was leaked that the popular videocast website is coming to Shanghai in May. That project is a collaboration between , who will host the episodes so they can be viewed without a VPN, and the promotion company who will handle on-site location finding and logistics. A little bird told me that the artists will be a combination of local Chinese house and techno DJs and producers along with international acts flown in. The ARP Creative team plan to announce on March 15th who the first Boiler Room guests will be.
However, it looks like Boiler Room is a month late (but probably not a dollar short) as Shanghai has just launched her own videocast called Meat & Bone (肉和骨).
