So a couple months ago this discreet little vodka lounge opened up on Yueyang Lu, right behind Hai By Goga. Aside from a few campy parties that evoke Rocky Horror and trash glam, they've stayed pretty quiet on promo so far, so I stopped in to see if they were even open. Turns out it's a den of infused vodka, hospitable barstaff, and 80s tunes that's well worth a look.
Hidden upstairs and behind another building, Catalog is not the kind of place you would find by accident unless you were doing something shady. The place feels like a birthday party in a goth kid's bedroom. A hundred people would pack this space out. Someone was DJing some 80s sleaze when we came in 鈥� always a good look. Before even ordering a drink, the bartender gave us some free shots of vodka and a bowl of peanuts.
