This new Spanish restaurant / cocktail house opened on Wulumuqi Lu near Fuxing Lu about twenty days ago. Their event listing promised "the most creative cocktails in Shanghai" so we stopped in to verify this claim. Not sure about the "most creative" part, but the drinks are solid, service is great, and this renovated lanehouse with indoor and outdoor seating would make a perfect spot for a date -- just not a dinner date.
looks like it was designed by a Shanghainese art school graduate. It was, and they harmoniously balanced the Shanghai x Euro vibes and the feng shui.
