A new Perry's has opened on Kangding Lu, spitting distance from the bar strip. They've managed to find another huge venue for the new bar. I don't know what the place was before but I'd guess it was a janky massage joint because it's one of those with a small doorway that's easy to ignore but that opens up into an Aladdin's cave of low-ceilinged, windowless chambers.
Perry's has done the place up like, well, quite like Aladdin's cave. They've got that same dim, subterranean vibe that Helen's goes in for. Lots of wood. Lots of
