As one of our readers last month. on Jinjing Dong Lu is no more. A new-ish whiskey bar by the name of has taken over the space.
This neighborhood is something of a dead zone for nightlife. It's a lot of residences, retail shops, and low-end dining. The next nearest bar is on the Bund. The location didn't seem to work for Kuma and Co., the owners of Mokkos, but who knows? Maybe another anonymous bar will find its niche here.
