They're the ones behind the yearly Whose Line Is It Anyway shows, and they've been pushing comedy here for over 20 years, dating back to when email was "first coming out" and Beijing was still all bicycles. They booked Russell Peters before he was famous (still haven't heard anything about that recent show).

Their annual show happens March 10-12, and ahead of that, I spoke with Punchline founder John Moorhead about the gig, the scene, and the future of comedy in China.
