We've just received word from our pal Nathan Michael, one of the festival organizers, that the will be returning to Shanghai on October 15 and 16.
Shanghai's biggest music festival gets even bigger this autumn, with a larger space to accommodate more bands, more crowds, and more stages than ever before -- it's going to be at a "new venue along the Huang Pu river" -- and will feature 6 stages with more than 100 acts from 5 continents.
And of course, more food, more booze, more fun, fun, fun.
Music starts at jazz and then spins out in a wildly concentric fashion to include folk, rock, blues, reggae, the music they call "world", as well as electronica. Good time eclecticism.
