The Shanghai funky mothership of jazz music, , is returning this October with their marquee event of the year, the . They've just released their line-up for the three-day event -- October 16, 17, and 18 -- and true to form, it's a pretty fantastic roster of talent. The big ticket acts:
Joss Stone, Victor Wooten, Earth, Wind & Fire Experience Featuring the Al Mckay Allstars, and Dee Dee Bridgewater.
Pretty great. Joss Stone. Victor Wooten. I like that the older Earth, Wind, and Fire gets the longer their name gets. How are you gonna write that on a little white cardboard sign when you're the limo driver meeting them at the airport?

That's like three dudes at the airport standing next to each other with those signs.
But yeah, Dee Dee Bridgewater making the return trip. Solid. In addition to that talent, the fest also boats multiple stages of Shanghai, national, and international jazz (and then some talent).
