Over at the estimable -- the English-language portal for the Midi Festival -- they've got a first look at the Shanghai Midi Festival 2011 line-up, and that's a pretty good indication that it's going to happen.

-- a fairly diverse smattering of local, national and international acts, with Shanghai represented by some fairly indicative bands of this city: Top Floor Circus, Cold Fairyland, The Mushrooms, Sonnet. And Beijing represented by some of the bigger names that get the kids out: metal bands Miserable Faith and Yakza, as well as synthier sounds from Free the Birds and Tookoo.
