He rarely DJs, but when he does, he tends to play eight hour, all-vinyl sets on a custom built mixer, and he doesn't even beatmatch. His sometimes-monthly night, The Same As It Ever Was, is pure dancefloor magic. Ahead of the party, we talked over email about DJing, food, Shanghai nightlife, and keeping up with the kids.
