The largest American Chamber of Commerce in the Asia Pacific region, AmCham Shanghai was first founded in 1915, as only the third Chamber established outside the US. It's a non-profit, non-partisan business organization that aims to strengthen US-China business relations, and provides support for its members in the form of resources, support, training programs, policy advocacy and relationship-building opportunities. They have 18 committees that focus on specified sectors, such as Entrepreneurship, Food, Agriculture and & Beverage and Marketing & Media. They hold over 500 programs annually, including a monthly member briefing and the annual AmCham Ball.
