They say if you miss it, you miss Shanghai 鈥� so if you missed it, you missed Shanghai? The classic acrobatic show, , in all its plate-spinning-death-defying-motorcycle-stunting glory will be suspended on July 1 due to renovations and because nothing gold can stay. You can still this week to the original production (a piece of Shanghai history!), with the last show on June 30 and ticketing closing June 29 at 12pm. The show will hopefully go on in October, revamped as 'ERA: Castle' in a new location, but as with so many things in Shanghai, nothing is promised. With tasteless timing we did a look at the decade old show, read it and let a single nostalgic tear roll down your cheek.
